Absorbing Transport Costs

Fireworks transport has become quite expensive. It typically costs between £30-£40 per delivery, sometimes more for some areas. With the quantity of stock that we sell, we are able to absorb some of the costs of transport, but not all.

This means that we have a tiered delivery charge for delivering around the UK. The more you spend, the more we can absorb the costs. It just depends on how much you buy.

Calculating The Costs

We have a formula coded into our cart to calculate the costs of shipping depending on how much you are spending and your post code. The price bands that we have set are as follows:

Band 1: Cart less than £100
Band 2: Cart less than £250
Band 3: Cart less than £400
Band 4: Cart less than £600
Band 5: Cart greater than £600

Where the delivery cannot be calculated by the cart, there will be a note on your order to this affect and we will contact you to discuss delivery details.

Places We Cannot Deliver

We cannot deliver to BT, GY, IM, JE, KW and ZE or to the islands or out with the UK mainland. Sorry!

Delivering Our Special Offers

If you have made the bulk of your order from our special offers, we may not be able to absorb some or all of the fireworks delivery charges. This is because there is not the margin in these products to cover extra costs for transport. In this instance, we will contact you to discuss your order and to advise you of any revised delivery costs in advance of shipping your fireworks.

Extra Charges

Some post codes have an extra surcharge, such as AB33+, PA20+, PH20+, IV1+. These are calculated into the delivery charges in the cart.

Normal Delivery Service is 5-6 Working Days

We will make every effort to dispatch your fireworks within 2 working days of receipt of your paid order. With fireworks, it normally takes 5-6 working days from dispatch for the courier to process the package and deliver the fireworks to your door. It is normally quicker than this but we cannot guarantee it. Sometimes it can be slower depending on what else the courier is carrying. They can only carry so much firework product at a time.

Once we have dispatched your order, we are at the mercy of the courier and we therefore cannot be held responsible for any delays in the delivery of your fireworks that are beyond our control, such as a failure in the delivery network.

When Do You Need Your Fireworks?

At the checkout stage, please tell us when you need your fireworks delivered by. This helps us enormously! Our team can then process your order or get in touch with you if they have any concerns about getting them you in time.

Important Delivery Information

Always be sure to leave your contact details (including mobile number, landline number and email address) along with any special delivery instructions when you make your order. This means our team or the courier company can get in touch with you if there are any issues.

Please ensure you are in to receive your fireworks. We cannot leave your fireworks delivery on your doorstep or with a neighbour. This is because they are classed as Dangerous Goods. If the courier needs to make a second delivery attempt, there may be additional charges made by the courier, which we will need to pass on to you. If your fireworks are returned to us, we will refund you the cost of your fireworks minus the cost of the courier charges.

We cannot deliver your fireworks to someone who is under the age of 18. Please be aware that ID may be required if you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25.

Christmas & New Year

The UK fireworks delivery network closes down at Christmas for 2 weeks. This means that to get your New Year fireworks during the festive season, you either need to order them in early December or we need to see if we can deliver them to you ourselves. We are not professional couriers, but by running our own little delivery network during these festive weeks, we make every reasonable effort for our customers to ensure that you get your fireworks for your party! Depending on the number of orders that we have, we may not be able to deliver right to your door. We may need you to come part way and meet us at a mutually convenient location.
